Dunbar Elected to Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel
David Dunbar, managing member of DunbarMonroe, P.A. in Jackson, was recently elected to membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
Founded in 1936, FDCC is an elite group of experienced attorneys who have distinguished themselves professionally in their representation of insurance companies and other corporations in the defense of civil litigation. Membership is limited with only 1300 attorneys from the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe, Puerto Rico and other areas.
Dunbar received his undergraduate degree from Emory University where he was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. He received his J.D. in 1985 from the University of Georgia where he served on the editorial staff of the Georgia Law Review.
Admitted to practice in Mississippi and in Georgia, Dunbar is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Dunbar is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, the Transportation Lawyers Association and the American and Mississippi Bar Associations.
DunbarMonroe, P.A. serves clients throughout Mississippi and the Southeast in the areas of trucking defense, freight claims, insurance and products defense, professional errors and omissions defense, telecommunications, general corporate, commercial litigation, and employment law including workers' compensation and Title VII. Dunbar and his wife, Cindy, are the parents of two children and attend Christ United Methodist Church. Dunbar is also active in the Downtown Rotary Club and coaches a youth soccer team.
