JACKSON, Miss. – Attorney David C. Dunbar of DunbarMonroe, P.A., recently joined the USA International Ballet Competition board of directors. The USA IBC will celebrate its 25th anniversary this summer, and its next competition is scheduled for June 2006.
Dunbar’s law practice focuses on commercial trucking, professional errors and omissions, insurance and products defense and commercial litigation. A graduate of Emory University and the University of Georgia, Dunbar is an approved mediator for state and federal trial courts. He has an active mediation practice and has successfully completed the Harvard Law School Mediation Workshop.
The managing partner of his firm since its inception, Dunbar has served on the Drafting Committee for the Uniform Mediation Act for the Uniform Law Commission and as a state commissioner to the National Conference of Uniform State Law Commissioners. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, the American and Mississippi Trucking Associations, the Trucking Industry Defense Association and the Transportation Lawyers Association.
